Black History Month

In addition to the Black History Month display and activities on ACTC campus, the library will provide Black History Month information via our blog. Check back daily for facts on Black History.


Black History Month began as Negro History Week in 1926. Carter G. Woodson is responsible for getting this celebration started. February was chosen in honor of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglas.
