Renew Your Library Books....Online

Don't let library fines make your wallet light. Renewing your ACTC Library books just got easier. Did you know you can renew your books online? Click on the "Catalog" link on the library's homepage. In the top, right-hand corner, there is an option called "Your Library Account". You may log into your library account by using the barcode on the back of your library/student id card, your Social Security Number, or your Institution ID (Student ID Number). Then enter your last name. It will bring up the items you have checked out, amount of fines owed and any items you have requested. Check the boxes of the items you would like to renew and click on "renew item".

Online Renewal Q&A:

Can I renew a book that I've already renewed?

No, unfortunately not. The renewal limit is once. The item may be available for renewal, but you will need to bring it into the library, as well as your student id/library card.

It won't let me renew my book. Why?

There are several reasons why you might not be able to renew a book online. Here are the most common reasons:

  • Renewal limit has been reached (you can only renew a book once online)
  • You owe fines/fees to the library
  • The book is already overdue (you will have to come to the library to renew at that point)
  • Your book is an interlibrary loan (Interlibrary loans can only be renewed through Shirley McKinley)

If you have questions about renewing your book online, please contact the library at 326-2169 or
